The Bethesda Marriott recently received a complete renovation including updated rooms and public spaces.  New common space feature RSTco. furniture designed in collaboration with Marriott International Global Design Americas.

RSTco. worked closely with Gensler Philadelphia to assist in and execute the design of this farm table for the break room for Verdis Investment Management in West Conshohocken, PA.  The table top and matching base is made from locally sourced North American White Oak finished with a 100% VOC-FREE hardwax oil.

This past weekend we participated in the 2016 Architectural Digest Design Show in New York along side Cartwright NY.  The Architectural Digest Design Show (ADDS) is the essential showcase for luxury design.  The four-day fair showcases design offerings from more than 400 brands, including well-known manufacturers and independent makers.

RSTco. worked closely with the partners of Fisher Grey Studio to customize this conference room table for MissionStaff in Philadelphia.  The table top is made from locally sourced North American Black Walnut finished with a clear conversion varnish.  The base is blacked steel by RSTco. and incorporates a steel apron and with power receptacles.

Take a virtual visit to the RSTco. shop where we currently have several custom furniture projects in production.  Today we are working on 3 reclaimed oak console tables for the newly renovated Marriott in Bethesda, MD.  These custom table tops are made with antique reclaimed american oak and the bases are blackened steel.

We love what Ukrainian designer Yaroslav Galant is doing with charred wood furniture.  Galant discovered that charred wood can be employed in various interior schemes with striking aesthetic effects. His “Born 2B Burn” collection (initially spotted by Freshome on Captivatist) can be organically adapted to different design concepts from classical to eclectic and contemporary.

  After two decades of success, sock and apparel company SmartWool is rebranding the company.  According to a statement released in December, the Colorado-based brand is embracing its essential values and looking to a future of high-octane adventure with the reimagination of its visual identity, including a colorful update to its iconic cowboy logo. SmartWool’s new packaging is slated to hit stores in late June, and a website reskin is planned for the same month.
