Located on the Southeastern edge of Mascoma Lake, this modern shou sugi ban wood cabin is inspired by the New Hampshire Landscape. Designed by Kairos Shen, the Enfield project utilizes [TORA shou sugi ban exterior siding](https://resawntimberco.com/product/tora-shou-sugi-ban/), [HADAKA shou sugi ban exterior siding](https://resawntimberco.com/product/hadaka-shou-sugi-ban/), and clear vertical grain western red cedar.

With a small footprint, the cabin makes use of vertical space in the form of a sharp angular roof. Across the lake from the Shaker Museum, the Enfield Project is a modern take on a historic wood cabin

Arriving to the property through a winding gravel road surrounded by greenery, a sense of place is immediately face. Additionally, the natural setting continues when looking at the all natural wood facade with sights of the lake through the branches..
